Today Tuesday, September 19, 2017, Celebrity blogger Linda Ikeji turned 37.

Who's Linda Ikeji?

Linda Ifeoma Ikeji was born on 19th September 1980. She is a Nigerian news carrier blogger, writer, entrepreneur and former model. She is best known for her blog. She is the highest paid blogger in Nigeria and also in Africa.

Ikeji was born and raised in a Catholic family from Nkwerre, Imo State. She is the second child. She began writing at the age of 10. She finished secondary school at the age of 17 and, at 18, enrolled at the University of Lagos, where she studied English language. To assist her family and support herself through school, she had part-time jobs as a waitress, model and writer.

Ikeji graduated from the University in 2004. In 2006, she started blogging as a hobby. At that time, the internet was not as prominient in Nigeria and she had always make her posts at a cybercafe for her readers.

She's a Philanthropist

She runs a non-profit project themed "I'd rather be self made; No thanks". In her interview with HipTV, she revealed that through the project, she assists young girls aged 16–25 who have great business ideas and are willing to venture into entrepreneurship. She gave out the sum of NGN10,000,000 in the Phase 1 of the project.

She has really made impact on girls and I believe she still have lots to offer Nigerians and Africans. My birthday wishes to her as she turns 37 is that God Almighty should give to her man of her choice and best friend(Husband).

In an interview said: l was so determined to succeed that I didn’t pay much attention to my personal life but my attention was on my work life, my career. In the last five years I have been praying to God about my career and not on relationship. I was talking to God about my career. Until recently, I realize this is a critical moment and I started praying for an incredible guy. I am 36 now and more than ever, I am ready. I can’t wait to be a wife, mum and I can’t wait for that to happen. I love kids so much.
