Entertainment: Recalling Tyla's Grammy defeat, Asake is hopeful for victory in 2025.

Afrobeats superstar Ahmed Ololade, also known as Asake, declared he is not depressed about losing to South Africa's Tyla at the Grammys.

According to The Nation, Tyla's "Water" won the first-ever Best African Music Performance Grammy at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards, defeating Asake's "Amapiano" and other Nigerian tunes. But the "Mr Money With The Vibe" singer recently stated in an interview with GQ magazine that he doesn't perceive it as a loss.

He expressed optimism that he will receive additional Grammy nominations and likely win the award the following year.

For me, it is not a loss. Maybe next year, I'll acquire even more. I wasn't even taking it too seriously in my mind. He stated. Regarding his thoughts for "Work of Art," his sophomore album, Asake stated: I'm quiet, so people don't truly know me.

The result was that I became mysterious to everyone. "Work of Art" is merely for their familiarity. You cannot simply ignore my heart; you must acknowledge that I am a human being.
